evening review
Mornings offer a fresh start, and many people rise early to meditate before the day begins a proper.
Yet evenings are well suited to reflection. As darkness falls, our minds naturally become introspective.
Worries should be assuaged before bed; the fresh start you deserve in the morning is founded upon a good night’s sleep, which in turn can be better had if your mind is clear and satisfied.
Loose ends can be held in place by acknowleging them, perhaps formally in a notebook.
What have you learnt this past day? For what are you grateful? How do you mean to approach tomorrow?
Be at peace with this day, it has worked as hard as you; let it slumber.
